the kalich clan | South Sound Family Photographer

Meet the Kalich family!

This family is good friends of ours from our church and it was so fun to do family pictures for them! We had a beautiful June evening and great picture attitudes! That isn’t always an easy task with such a group with broad ages and majority being males. 😉 But we came away having a great time and a seemingly fairly painless event. 🙂 The family is growing! Cameron and his wife Natalie are newlyweds and visiting from Nebraska where they live now… Tonya took full advantage of having all her kids under the same roof and captured this time in their lives. I love it!

Enjoy their preview!

baby Pace | Gig Harbor Newborn Photographer

When Terah & Cedar went in to have their third baby they didn’t know yet whether it was going to be a third boy or their first girl.

Meet baby Pace Wilder. The third boy for the Paddock family! How blessed they are! I know first hand just how special a full family of boys is. Lots of action, bugs and action! haha! I had such a great time getting caught up with the Paddock’s. I made quick friends with Tag, the oldest brother. 😉 I went to highschool with Terah and Cedar both. We graduated highschool together 12 years ago and here we are three boys each! Crazy how time flies!

After a full diaper and spitting up Pace finally fell into a good sleep. What a sweet boy! He is pretty cute, too. Enjoy his preview!

Congratulations you guys! Happy times ahead! 🙂

a wedding | Mukilteo & Seattle Area Wedding Photographer

At the end of April I had the chance to photograph a lovely wedding. With my husband as my second shooter we traveled to Mukilteo, Rosehill Community Center to capture the special day for Katie & Jeremy. I’ve known Katie for years as I went to high school with her.  She graduated with my brother and I am friends with her sister. It was so fun getting to be apart of such a wonderful day for her family. We had a beautiful-overcast Spring day and were so thankful the rain held off for us. There was a little bit of a celebrity moment for Katie and Jeremy. While taking photos down by the ferry dock and lighthouse they were asked their names and hour of the wedding. Next thing we know they are being announced over the loud speaker and all the cars waiting to load up were honking and people were shouting their congrats! It was so fun for them!

It’s always so hard to blog a wedding…I always want to just post all the pictures we capture, but that is just not possible! Hope you enjoy this small glimpse from their very special day.

Jeremy  & Katie, thank you so much for having Terry and I to be the ones to capture you! We had a wonderful time and hope you love these photos for years to come! There is so much joy, excitement and love shared between you two, I just know you’ll have the best time married! Congratulations!!

family | Aberdeen Family Photographer

I am always amazed and honored when I hear I have inspired a fellow mom with a camera to begin capturing her family and children in a 365 project. (there have been quite a few of you!!) Or even if they just are inspired to begin taking more pictures than they currently are, picking up the camera and putting their phone down. The phones are great. I love being able to capture fleeting moments quickly and on a whim. But there is something to having some documentation from the big guy. From the camera that will give you the images for those graduations and weddings. 🙂

I first heard from Molly back in March. In her second email to me when I asked to hear more about her family she told me that she was indeed inspired by me and had begun a 365 project for her family. I have looked through it and she has captured some great memories! I love that! She was also concerned to actually be IN the pictures, as she is the main photo taker in her home and could count maybe 1 or 2 photos with her  and her family in them. I love that too. We as moms tend to shy away from being IN the photos for one reason or another but it is so good, such a gift to the years down the road to have us in them. So get in there moms! 😉

Molly’s family is made up of her husband Ryan, herself and her cute and super friendly children Fritz and Betsy. I had such a wonderful time with them. I met them at their home in Aberdeen. They live in a beautiful area and we took full advantage grabbing pictures in the nearby fields and the beach. This family is just as sweet as can be, there is so much love between them all.

Thank you Bold family for having me to capture your family during these whirlwind, fast paced years! I enjoyed it! Hope you enjoy your photos! xo

sweet love | Bremerton Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

meet Coralai.

I had the pleasure of meeting Coralai’s parents before. Her daddy is the brother to a bride we had last summer. They were a cute couple then and even cuter as new parents now! Coralai was two weeks old when I got to meet up with her at her home in Bremerton. Even though she was not super sleepy for us you can not discount any of these images of this beautiful baby. And so much love…sweet love for this baby girl. Her room was so cute and pink with a darling yellow dresser. I just love to see what all the nurseries look like at my clients homes, all so different and so beautiful!

A fun little fact… Baylee, Coralai’s mommy, whipped up her little headband just as our session began. Love that kind of talent (I don’t have it!! 🙂 )

Hope you enjoy Coralai’s sweet session!
