20 months (or so) ago I had the pleasure of having Keren (also known as the birth photographer) capture my birth with Grady Lane. We tease that we must need to have babies more often as we have tried to meet up a few times with our kids in tow and it’s never worked out, we just seem to see each other best when one of us is having a baby! I still love to look at those pictures and remember the day of him coming into this world. If you are looking for an amazing (and sweet!) birth photographer, check her out, you won’t regret it!
I of course was so excited to hear she was expecting her third baby and as the time of delivery approached we talked about having me do the newborn photos. Let me tell you, it’s always so fun and such an honor to do photos for another photographer. They understand light and your need to just ‘do your thing’, etc. but it is also extremely nerve racking! Especially, when they are KEREN, you know a lot of people will see these photos. That being said, this session couldn’t have gone smoother. And I was totally in my element with the darling nursery and sweet baby. Her children, unlike the typically dreaded connotation that “photographer kids” get were amazing to work with and so sweet. And the baby? Well, let’s just say they are lucky I left her with them.
Meet Amelia Grace.
Her room was well thought out and planned and so so so darling! I loved it! I am typically a “pink” person but have to say this gray and purple was so beautiful! I happened to have a perfectly purple wrap that went just right with the nursery color palette.
Amelia has the most amazing hair and reminds me of a more brunette version of my first born, complete with highlights! Love it!
Enjoy her photos….I sure enjoyed taking them! ❤❤❤
Thank you Keren! What a beautiful family you have! Hope to see you around, soon! 😉 ❤
